Shopping is always a trap and there are few things that clothes shop assistants will never tell you about for the obvious reasons. A clothing store uses all the possible strategies they can use to bring customers to the store and we honestly don’t know the things they have been hiding from us.
But, if you are a shopaholic, you might have observed their pricing strategies. A sale is never really a sale and sometimes they charge you even more. In this article, we are going to show Bright Side ‘s take on the hidden things that the clothes shop assistants never tell you about.
9 Things That Clothes Shop Assistants Will Never Tell You About. Let’s Take A Look!
1. Sale never benefits the customers
Sometimes you buy things you don’t even want to and it’s only because of sale. The stores increase the price to attract the customers and even we know this fact but still, we can’t resist. And if you see up to 70% on the window, it might be just for one item and 10% for the remaining.
2. Do you know what size fits you?
The size of the clothes varies with the manufacturers and this is why I never ask people to do shopping on behalf of me. Size is always an issue.
3. Quality can be compromised
Sometimes the brand collaborates with the top designers but it doesn’t mean that they can guarantee the quality. It’s all about exclusive items and their limited edition. If it’s exclusive, it doesn’t always mean that it’s better than the regular clothes.
4. Do you know why a discount section always looks messy?
The discount section looks so disorderly on purpose and it is done by shop assistants. This makes a customer feel happy that he or she found a good bargain in that mess and run to buy it immediately.
Hmmm, that’s some ninja technique to fool a person.
5. Chemicals are used in clothes manufacturing
It’s always good to wash new clothes before wearing them. It will reduce the number of harmful chemicals and keep you safe in case it was tried by some another customer.
6. Synthetic items cost same as natural fabrics
The Synthetic materials are always overpriced by the manufacturers and it makes us believe that the natural materials like cotton are cheaper. But it’s not what you think, it is just a ruse to make the customer purchase the overpriced natural materials clothes.
7. The truth behind designer clothes in outlets and boutiques
Just to save few bucks, people go to outlets for designer items. The items there just look like they are designer wear but, are not of the same design and quality.
8. It’s all about the quality
There is a reason why the clothes our parents have left for us are still good to wear. Today’s clothes are of poor quality, poorly printed images, cheap plastic fittings, and so on. People are looking more for designs and prints than the quality and even the manufacturers know that customers will come again to shop more without complaining because the dress they earlier bought was cheap.
9. The trend always changes and it changes in a week
Manufacturers have taken up on micro trends and they start trends every week. The more you see people following new trends, you spend more time in shopping and go to store almost every week.
